You are required to access the app during the initial setup of your Orka Two for synchronization of hearing profile based on your audiogram. If you don't have an audiogram, you're advised to take our in-app hearing screening. This ensures your hearing aids are optimally programmed to your hearing level, providing you the best possible hearing experience.
After the initial setup, you may use your hearing aids without using the app. The app is designed to enhance the overall user experience by providing additional controls and customization options, but it is not neccessary to operate the hearing aids.
Other than controlling your Orka Two with the app, you can also use the buttons on the charging case to adjust volume and change between the hearing aid programs.

Having hearing aids that are programmed to your hearing level ensures you the best possible hearing experience. The screening helps determine the quietest sounds you can hear at different frequencies. Thus, you should take the in-app hearing screening if you don't have an audiogram.
The in-app hearing screening is calibrated with Orka Two hearing aids for more accurate results compared to common online hearing screening.
Before the screening, you will be guided and instructed by Orka's interactive animated tutorial. During the screening, make sure you tap on "I hear the beep" whenever you hear the tone presented. Once the screening is complete, the screening results will be shown and can then be used to customize your hearing profile by tapping on "Generate hearing profile".

You should see a doctor, preferably an Ear-Nose-Throat (ENT) specialist, if you have any of the problems listed below:
  • Your ear has a birth defect or an unusual shape.
  • Your ear was injured or deformed in an accident.
  • You saw blood, pus, or fluid coming out of your ear in the past 6 months
  • Your ear feels painful or uncomfortable
  • You have a lot of ear wax, or you think something could be in your ear
  • You get really dizzy or have a feeling of spinning or swaying (called vertigo)

The first fit of your hearing aids is just the beginning. There is an adaption stage that each user will have to go through when they start wearing the devices. While some may get used to them very quickly, it takes longer for others. And the follow-up consultations are there to get your hearing aids checked by a Hearing Care Provider so that they can make adjustments to the devices and make sure the adaptation goes smoothly for you.

Please note that this date is subject to the stock status and availability of the product ordered. While we provide reasonable assistance with claims, we do not guarantee insurance or healthcare programs( for example FSA/HSA) eligibility, explicitly or implicitly, and our assistance does not guarantee claim success. Please note, you are accountable for your own damages or losses in connection to insurance or healthcare programs and your usage of our products or services. We offer a 3-year original limited warranty that covers material and workmanship defects for the products, including the hearing aids and charging case. The warranty begins on the date that the new devices are received.

During the original warranty period, we will replace the hearing aid system (i.e. Two hearing aids and one charging case) ONCE only for loss or damage not related to normal use. If it's outside of warranty, Orka will charge for the replacement for the lost or damaged hearing aid system.   1. You may refer to the user manual for basic troubleshooting
  2. You can report the issue you have through Contact Us which is located in the menu bar in Orka Health App. There are a few categories of issues that you can choose from, such as sound, battery, Bluetooth®, Control and others. After you submit a ticket about your issue, our Orka Expert will reach out to you for issue resolution.
  3. You may directly contact your hearing care professional after you tried basic troubleshooting the issue with the provided guides. You can also schedule a video appointment with your hearing care professional to better diagnose the issue with you.
